Interview
There were multiple rounds of interviews with multiple people for a low level position. It is a complete waste of time. It shows how decisions are made - they need 10 people to weigh in on everything, everything at the AAMC has lots of extra unnecessary steps, no respect of people's time. It also took 6 months. 6 months to find an admin+. A normal organization could make a decision.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AAMC in Apr 2022
Interview
-Applied online
-Received email asking for available times
-They missed my reply and didn’t respond until more than a week later
-Set up phone screen
-I called in and they were a no-show!
-Apology sent, mtg rescheduled
-Had interview; they were inflexible about a piece of software not specified at all as a dealbreaker in the description
-Said they’d let me know within 24 hours
-I sent thank you note
-No response weeks later, the end.
I applied and had a phone screen with their recruiter. They said they would get back to me the next day...never heard from them again and they stopped responding to my emails.
