The interview process took well over 2 months; initial touch point started beginning of May and carried on until mid July. There were 5 calls in total, which concluded with a case-study presentation. I had later found out that they - allegedly - are looking to pull the role due to a reclass in org. function, moving it to sales. This change seems pretty significant to just occur on a whim when you have advertised for the role for months and had incumbents within the interview cycle in its later stage right until the end. Take it for what it is worth, but a bit unprofessional and scattered after eating a lot of time and work put in from candidates that went all rounds. The hiring manager did have a personal call to relay to me that they are not moving forward with the role. I would thread carefully and probe on legitimacy of the role and decision timeline prior to going through the process.
