I didn't apply for AboutYou, their recruitment team reached me on my Stackoverflow account. They asked me if I'm interested in one of their vacancies and I said why not?. We did an HR interview .. the lady asked for my resume, she added me on Linked in and I sent her my CV. After 2 weeks I sent her a message asking about the status of my application, but she just keeps seeing the message without any response. They had a position for senior software engineer open which I select to continue with. After 3 weeks I got this message from their HR: "I received Feedback from the relevant department and they liked your profile a lot, however, they do not see a perfect match with any of our vacant positions right now.". There was no reason given actually. Usually, when there is a recruiting process in my company, I become part of it to participate for the technical/personal evaluation. I just saw how bad their recruiting process and I'm happy we didn't go for further steps. This is one of the companies that will fall to the ground only because of unqualified employees and if you want to see unprofessional behaviour, just apply :)
