The process felt quite disengaged. During the initial screening, we discussed my motivation and some standard topics, but I was informed that the hiring manager was on holiday. After two weeks with no update, I followed up—only to receive a generic rejection email. It gave the impression that there was never a serious intention to move forward with the hiring process.
