Interview
I applied for position and received a call from the Hiring Manager about a week and a half after applying. We scheduled a face to face interview the following week. I live in a different city so I drove to a few hours to the interview. I interviewed with a panel of five all except one worked in the relevant department. Everyone was kind, and the standard questions were asked. After about a week I emailed the gentleman leading the interview and he responded rather quickly saying that although they all felt I was a strong candidate they choose someone who was a better fit, he recommended I monitor other positions in the department. A day later I got the email from HR.
