I had a pre-screening interview with HR, it was one of those overly friendly types where you immediately know you won't get the job. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was that they said they would get back to me with either a yes or a no a week after. After getting no response from them for several weeks I emailed them twice and each time they responded saying they're working on a decision and that they'll get back to me very soon. About a month later of not hearing anything I emailed them for the third time and almost immediately they responded saying they decided to pursue other candidates. To me this is completely unacceptable and disrespectful to candidates who spent their time on the application to just ghost them after dragging them on for weeks. Probably won't be applying here again.
It was a 2-day company hiring event at a hotel. First night was social meet-n-greet, second day was the interview. The interview process lasted about 45 mins. It was a smooth interview, got the job offer after 2 weeks.
