I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AECOM (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Dec 2016
Interview
A set of online pre-interviews formalities from HR, portfolio submission, and finally a face-to-face interview. Interviewer was one of the associate level technical person from the Urban design team. All the questions which were asked was related to the job role, which was the Interview sought for. Positive criticism on the portfolio in addition to the encouragement was done by the interviewer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AECOM in Aug 2024
Interview
I stated my expected salary range but during the initial phone screening, was badgered by the recruiter to lower my expectations (this would have been a lateral move for me and I stated that I would expect compensation equal to my current position, not an increase). This was prior to undergoing a full interview. The only other questions they asked, I had already answered in the job application. I was offered an in-person interview but had to ask to reschedule due to serious illness. The recruiter said they would get back to me but I never heard from them again. Overall I found the hiring process very strange and unprofessional.
I applied online. I interviewed at AECOM in Jul 2024
Interview
The interview involved explaining 2 projects from the portfolio, and discussions on project expectations, past experiences, and soft skill exploration. There were scenario based questions, but easy to navigate, if past experience is held.
I was invited to the office and had the interview with two Directors. We talked about my experience, technical aspects and work that AECOM does. Overall positive experience. Nice office.
