Interesting. After some prequalification (including telephone interviews and some computerized testing) they had fifteen of us in for a group interview. They spent some time telling us about the company, then had us do a team "project" (to see how we interacted and cooperated). The activity was the sort generally classified as a "team building exercise" - give some sticks of spaghetti, some tape, and a marshmallow, build a structure to place the marshmallow as high as possible. Then they allowed us some time to ask them questions. From the group - eight were brought in to a ten week trial period.
