I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ALDI (Abbotsford) in Jul 2016
Interview
After my review yesterday about the melboure, abbotsford store this evening. Their was a group of 7 of us in the Aldi staffroom. Everyone had a chair, except for myself and the area manager lol. We all filled out forms, then the area manager spoke about Aldi, asked all of us to say something about ourselves. We all said the same thing, our name and our emplyment history. Then she asked what we knew about Aldi and as nervous as i was i asked the first question with a shaky voice. Which i was proud of, that i said anything at all lol. Think besides two others i asked or answered the most questions. Then that was it. Everyone walked straight out and i stopped and had a look, buying something for my boys. I'll let you know if i make it to the next stage?

Interview
It was short and sweet, they sent me a email to book a time to have a phone call with them and a week later I had my interview. I just answered some questions they asked me and said I would get a email reply if I went to the next stage
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me
-tell them more about myself
-why I left my current position
-if I was working there what task would the job require
-why I want to work there
Was overly complicated and too many stages, online test x2 and a recorded interview. Application itself is very tedious and is not very friendly to new users. Apparently you need to know someone already in ALDI to work at there stores.
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI in May 2026
Interview
Call interview. Got an email to schedule a time for a call interview and passed it.
Still need to do a Store interview (which I was told would be the final interview).
