I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Atherstone, England) in Mar 2014
Interview
Filled out an online application form asking basics like on track to achieve a 2:1, driving license etc. Then I was invited to carry out a number of online tests- numerical, verbal and psychometric/ situational judgement. I received a letter a week or so later telling me that I had been successful and had been invited to an assessment centre, attended the assessment centre where we were asked to do a variety of tasks, some on our own, others in groups. They asked us to stand up and talk for exactly 2 minutes about ourselves, to stand up and talk for exactly two minutes about something that we are passionate about, to take part in a group exercise where we were to argue who should remain on a boat, and then we had to fill out a selection of numerical and verbal reasoning tests.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ALDI (Atherstone, England) in Feb 2022
Interview
Seemed very content to progress to the final stage, however I got the feeling they knew they didn't want to hire me as soon as I entered the room. It was claimed to be a competency based interview, however they didn't ask one question relating to previous experience, or even an opportunity to demonstrate your strengths.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ALDI (London, England) in Mar 2021
Interview
First stage after initial application was the situational judgment tests. This was followed by a virtual assessment where about 5 questions came up and I had to answer into the camera. As far as virtual assessments go, this one was well explained. The next stage was the group stage, which I completed virtually. This was not a bad experience, although online group assessments are challenging. The interview host was communicative although robotic and not personable, as if she was reading from a script. The process was overall decent.
