Severe lack of communication on their end with an extremely long process. Applied for the position at Fremont, CA location with referral and received e-mail to schedule interview on 8/17. Phone interview got scheduled for 8/22. Phone interview itself went smoothly. Received e-mail on 9/22 telling me Sr. Recruiter left the company and requested 2nd in-person interview. Interview got scheduled for 9/29. Not the best in-person interview experience. Was asked towards the end to give 10 reasons why ASUS should hire me now, and was interrupted multiple times suggesting I was giving the same / similar responses. Seems a little rude, but could be a 'tough attitude' approach to interviewing. It is now 10/18 and I still never received any word back--even after sending a follow-up e-mail to my referral and HR--so figures it's a 'no'. What a complete letdown. With the current state of the job market, waiting 2 months with no concrete end result is a huge disappointment and tells me they don't respect my time and effort to apply for the role. It's by far the longest I've ever had to wait to hear back from applying for a job. Horrible way of carrying themselves for such a large and prestigious company. I strongly do not recommend applying to this company.
