4 Rounds of technical interview followed by HR discussion
L1: Technical questions related to DevOps tools and practices
L2: Cloud specific deployment related questions. in my case in depth question on AWS cloud including High availability, auto scaling, disaster recovery, VPC etc.
L3: More advanced topics from cloud and DevOps tools and methodologies. questions from microservices distributed tracing, monitoring and remediation steps, micro services deployment stragies like rolling update, blue green deployment, canary deployment, CI/CD automation pipeline, etc
L4: interview with VP and Director, still is an another round of technical interview. this time, the questions are even harder as they asked questions related to cloud and application security, OAuth, OOPS concepts, coding and scripting related questions and more.
After completing all these technical rounds, next would be HR discussion. salary negotiation did not went well with the HR is focused on convincing us rather than listen to our expectation. HR negotiated very badly and turned down the candidature without saying anything.
