Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter from Aveva for an interview and it was really strange. In half an hour he didn't ask me any questions about what I'm doing now and what I'm looking for and could do at Aveva. But only asked me questions like 'tell me your 3 strengths and 3 weaknesses'. Are there really still companies in 2023 that hire based on questions like these? Oh, of course he told me he would let me know within a week but he disappeared into thin air.
Coding test, system design, behavioral questions.
- Codility, 3 questions, leetcode medium and c# class design
- 1st round: discussion on codility, system design
- 2nd round: system design, past experience, cultural fit
It was great. Really polite people, and I would not have expected anything more than from the wonderful people here at AVEVA. The process was straightforward with a panel interview with 3 developers.
