First, I was contacted by "Abalta Recruit," and asked to take a C++ test that covered some OOP and some obscure questions about the language. After passing the screen, I was asked to do a skype interview. An engineer called me on skype, but we did audio only. We discussed my background, and talked about some C++ principles. Then we opened up a collabedit and he gave me two algorithms to solve. Nothing too tricky, others mentioned those problems on here (you should probably use a hash table for one or both of these). After passing the skype screening, I was asked to come on campus for an interview. When I got there, there was no "front desk" person, which I understand because it's a small company. Somebody finally noticed me and asked if I was here to interview. She went to get the head of engineering to begin the interview. The interview consisted of a 1 on 1, a 2 on 1, another 2 on 1, and finally a 1 on 1 with the head of engineering. Each new group that came in started by asking me questions about my resume, then asked me to solve a problem on the whiteboard. The interview was 4 hours long.
