I received a call from HR asking to do a phone screen. I responded right away with my availability, HR didn't respond. This took three more emails from me asking Accel to schedule the phone screen. Finally, when HR called, she told me that of all the candidates, I sounded like the best fit until...........she asked me what year I graduated from college. Clearly a tactic to find out how old I am. This is a young crowd. I assured her that I am comfortable working with people of all ages, and that I would be a great mentor to their younger staff members. She said she's pass my info to the hiring manager and get back to me. She never did. I emailed a few more times and just determined that they were never going to get back to me. Highly disorganized, AND they insist that every single employee has a terminal handler license. This is pretty invasive. I got another offer anyway, so life goes on. Glad I didn't work there.
