Initially contacted by an Accenture inside recruiter for a Senior Manager position. Had an initial screening call with the recruiter, after which a situational phone interview was to be set. Did not hear from recruiter for several weeks. Finally got the situational scheduled, great conversation got typical situational questions "Tell me about a time when you...". Back to recruiter for results, which apparently were good, but another week went by. Skills interview to be scheduled, with another week delay, as they had no one available to do it. Skills interview is conducted, with positive feedback from the interviewer over the phone. Recruiter does not get "official" results back immediately, then goes on vacation for ten days. When recruiter returns, she still cannot find the results of the skills interview and then informs me that I'll need to do another one. After another week delay, she informs me that although each interview has been successful, they are no longer hiring for the position and so if I'm interested, I can re-apply for a new one and start the whole process over. Since the initial interest in the relationship came from them, I'm not sure why she would believe I would go through this process twice.
