      Graduate Analyst Interview

      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Accenture (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2016

      Interview

I applied through the website and was then invited to take the online assessment. This was fairly straightforward and heavily focused on competency - be sure to practise as there are plenty of websites out there. I was then invited to the first round stage which involved an informal interview with a member of the HR team and a group task. Again, the interview was competency based and very informal. The interviewer was very interested in my past employment and reasons for wanting to change career. The group task was enjoyable. You're given a scenario (two banks seeking to merge in my case) and numerous solutions. You had to work with your team in the time frame to decide on a solution in a set time and then present it to another group and the assessor. After this I was invited to the final stage which involved a one-to-one interview with a senior manager. My interviewer was extremely friendly and encouraging and I enjoyed the experience. Be sure to know you're stuff about Accenture and reasons for wanting to work there and have plenty of genuine examples to demonstrate your competencies.

      Application

I interviewed at Accenture (Newcastle upon Tyne, England)

      Interview

I did a task based interview comprising several short 'case-study-esque' tasks. They were fun and engaging and with a real person! To prep I would recommend looking at some other case studies to think about why certain paths and behaviours are chosen by Accenture employees.

What were you thinking about when you decided your approach to the previous task?

The process was very fun and chill. One way screening questions and then after being shortlisted, we had to solve a case as a group. They were looking for leadership and collaborate skills.
