I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Pune) in Nov 2009
Interview
1. Walkin date was conveyed via email.
2. Was a walkin on weekend on many technologies.
3. No format of Interview was explained. Walkin was uncontrolled event with no proper communication by the recruiting pannel to the candidates.Time was given for the interview in the morning. But besides handing over the detials form , nothing happened. My Form was lost by them first , then I resubmitted it. I came to know the interview pannel is not available till then.
4. After 8 hours, in the evening at last, my first technical round was conducted. It was not at all a tougher experience as I expected it might be. In merely 20 minutes with very basic testing questions I got released from it.
5. Then some HR kind of round was taken , but no salary negotiations were done that time.
6. Again after a week time, I was asked to come down for the HR round again. This was confusing for me as was 2nd time.
7. In this 2nd round, again the same HR questions were asked. I realised, record of the 1st HR round was lost by them. Again an evidence of un-controlled process.
8. Nosalary negotiatons done again.
9. After this I was conveyed of selection after 2 weeks.
Initially there was a telephonic interview followed by in person first round and then second round. It was fairly smooth however the timeslines of getting call for followup interview were too vauge
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Regarding technical skills and examples regarding how i would handle a deadline. Apart from that they asked me about different testing methodology and principles and how confident i was leading a team
It was good experience overall. There were few technical questions I got confused with. I had 3 interviewers, and they were all professional and made me at ease. After the interview was over, I reached out to the recruiter and after few weeks, I got the email from recruiter saying that I got the offer
