First Round Overview:
The initial stage is a cognitive and technical evaluation administered online either at individual colleges or during pooled campus placement drives. The assessment is divided into two key components:
1. Assessment Structure:
This section evaluates core competencies through:
Aptitude and Reasoning (numerical, logical, and abstract problem-solving)
Verbal Ability (language comprehension and communication skills)
Proficiency in common software applications (e.g., MS Office)
Pseudo-code analysis (interpreting and debugging algorithm-based scenarios)
Foundational IT concepts (networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing principles)
2. Coding Test:
Candidates must solve two programming questions covering topics ranging from basic data structures to advanced algorithms (e.g., greedy methods, dynamic programming). Complexity varies, but completing at least one question successfully is mandatory to advance.
I was interviewed in the Mandaluyong site. It was before the pandemic, so the interview was held in person. I had a one-on-one interview with one of the recruiters. The interview questions were average.
It was very structured. It consisted of 1 round. The interviewer asked me to introduce myself and then asked questions on my resume. They are basically looking for candidates to walk through their resume. They didn't ask any question apart from the resume
The process was 1 online assessment and 1 group interview with 3 panelists. They asked both technical and soft skills questions. Each interviewer asked different questions. The total interview was less than 30 mins.
