Firstly, a recruiter reached out to me and requested my resume. However, I never received any follow-up or acknowledgment from them. It was frustrating to not even receive a simple reply, let alone an update on the status of my application. This lack of communication was unprofessional and left a negative impression. Four weeks later, another recruiter from the same company contacted me, and we scheduled an initial interview. On the day of the interview, the person responsible for conducting the session did not even introduce themselves. This lack of basic courtesy set a poor tone for the entire interaction. During the interview, instead of engaging in a genuine conversation about my qualifications and experience, it felt more like an interrogation. The interviewer focused heavily on my skills in JavaScript and HTML, which were not even mentioned in the job description for the UX Research position. This discrepancy made me question if the interviewer had a clear understanding of the role I was applying for. To make matters worse, the interviewer abruptly wrapped up the call nearly ten minutes earlier than scheduled. This premature ending left me feeling dismissed and undervalued as a candidate. It was clear that the interviewer did not show genuine interest or consideration for my potential fit within the company. Overall, my experience with the interview process at accionlabs was highly disappointing. The lack of communication, unprofessionalism, and the mismatched focus during the interview were major red flags. I hope my feedback helps the company improve its recruitment practices and provide a more positive experience for future candidates.
