I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ace Hardware (Cascade, Kent, MI) in Aug 2011
Interview
Sat down with the store owner. Went through some basic questions on my education, conflict management, overall education on hardware. The interview was smooth and the questions were all very basic for a retail store. I was able to review the duties that were expected of me and see if I was fit to take the position. The whole process from start to finish took only a couple days (paperwork included). The people I interviewed with included the outlet owner and the floor manager.
