About 2 weeks after I applied i got an email from HR requesting a time for a phone screen. Some general screening questions were asked once we spoke, overall call took about 30 mins. After the phone screening i was invited to have an on site interview with management of the dept. Even though the process from phone interview to hire took a few months, the overall experience was pleasant and not too stressful. A word of advice is to be patient and follow up with emails to find out where you stand in the process.
