Very polite and a-typical interview process. Both employers that interviewed me were professional and prompt, so no qualms there. However, it appears the bulk of less than stellar reviews are correct; it doesn’t matter what position you apply for, it’s only ever an open slot for field sales. Don’t let the extraneous wording and run-on descriptions fool you, this is very much a position for in-store sales. What does that translate to? The people that camp out in CostCo/Sam’s/BJ’s in the electronics section as third party middlepersons selling cell phone plans. Hope I saved everyone some time. Oh, and as far as salaries are concerned, there’s a minimal base salary, but this is totally a commission-inclined job; if you’re like me, and ask “what is the salary” you will be given a long-winded (purposefully unnecessarily detailed) multiple-tier explanation that promises riches, but only if you’re a closer.

Interview
I submitted my application online and was then sent a series of questions to my e-mail. I answered the 3 questions and then got a call 30 minutes later to meet with a manager.
When I got to the meeting it was very strange. It was kind of rude but that could have been the "laid back" attitude this company is going for. I was asked to fill out a sheet that wanted to know about my likes and dislikes and an emergency contact which I thought odd for an interview. I was then taken back and not asked about my Resume but about the sheet I filled out. It was more of a conversation which I appreciated but I could tell the person interviewing wasn't giving me a fair chance. Everything I said they came back with a really rude retort. Even if you don't vibe with someone you are interviewing there is no need to be rude. If this is their interview style then I hope they see this and decide on a new one because nobody would want to work with someone who does that.
When talking about the day-to-day they mentioned "you will watch someone in management and then eventually you will build your own team and that is where you start getting your return." That set the red flag off in that it seemed very strange/pyramid scheme to me.
