Applied online and heard back a week later for a virtual HR interview. Finished the call and was informed the next steps involved her passing her notes to the team. Was later asked to do a video edit test within a 72 hr window, write about why I made the edits, and video titles I would suggest for it for YouTube. HR also stated I would later receive feedback on my edit. I am rating this interview as negative as I did put in a lot of hours making this edit: custom motion graphics in after effects to go with the narration, sfx, color grading, adjusting the framing of their raw footage, looking for music online, adding subtitles, creating a thumbnail, and thoroughly writing out the form they also attached to later receive a copied and pasted "we’ve decided to move forward with other candidates who more closely align with the needs of this role." During the whole interview process I did not get to meet anyone with the video team.

I heard back from Acquisition.com 1 week after submitting my application. I then had a short culture fit interview with the hiring manager. Next was a technical assessment of editing a YouTube video intro which I had 72 hours to return. Afterwards I had a 30 min technical interview with their creative director and lead video editor about my expertise in editing as well as reviewing my assessment.
