Absolutely the worst recruiter experience in Montreal, Canada. I am not a fresher, I have interviewed at several companies, and this has by far been the worst experience. After the first round, the recruiter sent me an assessment, which was very easy. After I completed it, she completely ghosted me. Even after following up more than 20 times, there was no response, and I eventually received an automated rejection after two months. It was a total waste of time. Experiences like this reflect poorly on the hiring process. Recruiters who are this unresponsive add no value, and processes like this would be better off automated rather than leaving candidates in the dark.

The first step is a screening interview. It involved typical questions - tell me about yourself, current tasks at job, motivation, desired salary. There was a question that i didn't like - what do i think about working long hours. Last part of the interview involved answering tech questions with being recorded. Again typical questions like indexes, design patterns, data structures, what would i do if some kind of situation had happened. After the interview i was sent a brief assessment that is limited by 2 hours.
