      Product Manager Interview

      Aug 3, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe in May 2021

      Interview

The process took about 3 weeks from first contact to offer. I applied online and was contacted via email 4 days after to set up an interview. All interviews were held on video, via Teams. 1. First step was a 30-minutes interview with the Direct Manager (I was surprised it was not a HR interview first but it's actually clever because at least the hiring manager can assess the skills and fit to the team much better than a HR person). The discussion was pretty open, I was asked about my skills and how they would applied to the role. The Hiring Manager also gave me a clear overview of the role. 2. A few days later I had an 30-minutes interview with the HR Talent Manager. We were able to talk about compensation, benefits, contract, Adobe's work culture. 3. The following week, I had a panel interview with 4 senior managers on the team, including the Hiring Manager. I had to do a 20-minutes presentation of projects from my previous experiences (I had about 5 days to prepare it), followed by 45 minutes of Q&A. The questions were the right amount of challenging but always asked with openess and empathy. I never felt pressured which can happen in interviews with a large number of panelists and I quite enjoyed the conversation. The hiring process was very clear throughout. The HR Talent Manager was always very responsive and willing to answer all my questions. It was quicker than any other interview rounds I've had before, without any unecessary steps. The offer came quickly (a few days) after my last interview, again with clear and transparent communication.
