I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Advance Auto Parts
Interview
Pretty straightforward, minimal turnaround time. Prior experience with car parts will definitely put you at an advantage, however it is more retail based than car mechanics based. The company does have an unreal turnover rate however, so don't expect too much friction when it comes to hiring you.
I interviewed at Advance Auto Parts (Lockport, NY)
Interview
Was promoted from within. I was a retail parts pro and I did great work. The current assistant manager quit and i was offered their spot. It was the worst decision of my life.
