I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Advantage Solutions (Salt Lake City, UT) in Feb 2012
Interview
None, This was a new account, and I walked in the door with no training, no computer. The company didn't even have an idea how we were going to schedule, do the job and pay the employees. This was just throw together in a hurry.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do I handle the day-today operation of this job. I started out with no computer, no way to track performance or Sales, no contact information with company except my direct supervisor (who was terminated along with his replacement).
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Advantage Solutions
Interview
The interview was a joke. Although you're interviewing for a very low paying job (32K), the person interviewing me was on an ego trip (very typical of the people who work in this company) and asked all sorts of long interview questions. Kept me for over an hour when this interview could have easily been 15-20 minutes. It's an entry level job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I don't remember the questions I was asked. It was a long time ago. The questions were simple, but the interview was way too long for such an entry level position.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Advantage Solutions (New York, NY) in Jun 2017
Interview
not a real interview barely asked me any questions extremely easy going, wish they would have asked more questions and had gotten to know be better i could have been a crackhead off the street
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Advantage Solutions in Sep 2015
Interview
Because of an error in scheduling I personally contacted the interviewer, who was busy at the time. However he called me back later. Phone interview only, was very short. He asked me where I saw myself in 5 years and after I answered asked me if I would be happy with a certain salary.
