      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Adyen (Amsterdam) in May 2015

      Interview

Screening interview with HR, then interviews with people in various roles on the development teams, and also a final interview with upper management. I was in Amsterdam so I did all interviews in one day directly in the Adyen office, which is nice and is well located near central station. Everyone I talked to in development seemed motivated and committed to the work, and also to working in a sustainable manner (I got the impression no firedrills). They seemed to be a development, not a sales, driven organization with good long term vision and plan. Very positive impression of potential colleagues and also the working environment. Seems like a great company to work for. Work seems quite technical.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Mostly about my specific experience that related to the job (APIs, tooling). The company is also very focused on creating a healthy empowered culture, so questions about the type of environment I feel comfortable working in and how I might operate in their working environment.
