I applied online. I interviewed at Aerotek (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I recieved a phone call from a recruiter 2 or 3 weeks after applying to some positions online. We went through a phone screen and scheduled for an in-person interview. The confirmation email stated to bring resume, references, and come early to fill out some paperwork. I showed up to the office early, but I did not have to fill out any paperwork or submit any copies. The interview consisted of every single thing we discussd over the phone, so I have no idea why we needed to do face-to-face interview. The whole interview lasted all but 15 minutes and was redundant. No parking validation or anything offered. The job I was offered was a joke.
3 or 4 interviewers go in the room to interview you one-on-one. There is maybe a 5-minute break period between each interviewer. They all ask you varying questions, and you are free to ask them any questions about them or the company.
Because it was during covid, it was a video interview. Very standard interview questions. Multiple people were involved in the interview to ask questions. They asked questions about my lab experience in addition to questions about how I work with others in a collaborative setting.
