I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek (New York, NY) in Apr 2017
Interview
Pretty rigorous for an entry level role. I got phone screened by a field recruiter then transferred to their internal recruiter. After 2 phone interviews, I went into the office and met with their director or business operations. The final round was a "half day" during which you shadow 3 recruiters on the work that they do and then attend their business meeting to see the discussions. Then they do a panel interview with 2 account managers. 4 rounds in total.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. What motivates you?
2. Why do you want to be a recruiter?
3. Tell me about the biggest challenge that you have faced and how did you deal with it?
The interview process was quick. Lasting around 15 minutes. There are several interviews that you will go through. They will do an initial interview with the director. Then you will get scheduled for a follow up. This is where you meet the other recruiters and account managers. They will walk you around the office and have you shadow some of the recruiters.

Are you a go-getter?
Average difficulty covering standard interview questions. Phone screen followed by an in-person interview. Phone screen was received quickly after resume submission; in-person was with their head recruiter and then followed by one with their manager.
Phone screening call with the recruiter giving me information about the job, then another virtual call interview more in depth to ask me more questions. The final interview is in person in their office.
