I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Aetna in Sep 2014

Applied on school career site. Got an interview request in less than 2 weeks. Phone interview for an hour with 2 engineers. It was pleasant interview, but they wanted a BIG data engineer, which they did not really specify in job classified. I think they should have been a lot more specific about that. I feel like I was getting a meh response from them until I mentioned how one of the problems they are working on could use MapReduce style of problem solving. They got so excited. They said quote "Don't take my words for it, but I think we will be contacting you soon." Never got the second contact. Never bothered to contact them either because I didn't really want to go to hartford.
