      Manager, Customer Advocacy Interview

      Mar 30, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Affirm

      Interview

It consist of three interviews after you speak to the recruiter and decide if you’re the right fit. Then you speak to the hiring manager, if they move you forward you do a take home assignment (took me like 4hrs) it’s a case study overview ( I wanted it perfect but probably can be done in less than two hrs). If you pass the assignment then it is a 4hr panel review with multiple people. I got to the panel review but it was cancelled due to the recently fulfilled the role. The questions weren’t hard, they were behavioral, situational and technical questions. I would’ve probably landed the job if they didn’t make an offer to someone else after sending me to the final round. You do get to prep with the recruiter prior to the final interview and I felt fully ready, confident and prepared for the interview. My feedback for the company is more availability when scheduling interviews for faster turn around and my main feedback is a bit more consideration when it comes to the interview process. I would suggest finishing all candidates in the final round prior to making an offer to give everyone a fair chance and to show appreciation specially when passing the case study. Or at least completing the interviews you already had scheduled. It was a huge disappointment to know the only reason I didn’t get the role was due to timing after being scheduled for a time to showcase why I was the best candidate for the role.

      Interview

I can confidently say it was one of the most transparent and well-structured experiences I’ve had. From the initial recruiter screen to the final interviews, the process was timely, well-communicated, and thorough. While the interviews were challenging and required strategic thinking, I always felt comfortable and supported by every person I interacted with. The team was engaged, professional, and genuinely interested in understanding my experience and how I could contribute. The conversations were not just about assessing my skills but also about ensuring a great mutual fit. I truly appreciated Affirm’s commitment to clear expectations, open communication, and a thoughtful candidate experience. Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

One of the key focuses of the interviews was how I approach problem-solving, collaboration, and process improvement. I was asked about my experience in cross-functional partnerships, handling complex customer complaints, optimizing workflows, and driving efficiency in a growing organization. They also explored my ability to balance customer advocacy with business needs and how I would help mature the customer advocacy program.
