I was approached by a recruiter for an EM position, My profile fit 90% of the checklist; however, after scheduling a call, the recruiter never reached out to re-schedule or at least mention that they had someone else. I guess they have too many 'great' candidates to select from.

I was contacted by the company recruiter for interview setup process and initial interview was scheduled with director of engineering.
I was waiting for a call which I didn't receive at scheduled time and after about 5 minutes of waiting when I was about to reach out to recruiter I got the call, the interviewer was having lunch and I could hear the "chap chap" chewing sound during interview call which lasted only for around 12 minutes and after that I never heard from PDL.
