      Trainee Broker Interview

      Anonymous employee
      Miami, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Air Charter Service (Miami, FL) in Nov 2019

      Interview

I was found on LinkedIn by a recruiter. I'd been looking for a job with a reputable company all year. I was in the process of interviewing for Cintas and this position seemed like the much better option. I had to chase the recruiter a little bit in the beginning (I was traveling when she reach out and didn't see her message for a few days), but after that it was a smooth process and the communication was timely and effecient.

      Interview

When I saw the posting for the first time, immediately I felt as I was perfect fit. I became eager about potential new career. I wanted to grow with this company, especially when I watched the video of original foundation of the small business out of basement of a couple. I was intrigued. I had so much respect. Immediately I researched all possible information on all upper employees. I watched all videos on utube, IG and Facebook. Next day I went to Santa Monica Office to introduce myself personally. The lady seemed superficially nice but very short and abrupt and not in the welcoming spirit. Moreover, I called London office and spoke with an employee there and left my personal information. I was advised that someone will call me back. I than called few offices in USA and attempted to find an email or a phone number of HR person (I knew her name of website) I was told that it’s not possible for me to get her contact information. I was told if she likes me she would contact me first. I than used my PI skills and found email of HR person on my own. I composed my cover letter with enthusiasm. I attached the picture to it as well. I emailed my cover letter and asked to let me know of my status. I have done so much and NEVER heard a word from them. But I was more upset seeing the job postings of a position I have applied on multiple sites. They keep reposting position on different data base and unprofessionally treat me and my eagerness to work for them and build our success together. HR person not a good representation. And whoever in Santa Monica office, she is also very ignorant.

      Trainee Broker Interview

      Aug 15, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Air Charter Service (London, England) in Aug 2018

      Interview

A well organised and honest process with a clear agenda set out from the beginning. Initially you have a brief phone conversation with HR who will then send you a psychometric test. Upon the completion and review of this, you are invited to take part in a Skype interview. The next stage is an interview with two senior members of the team that seems best suited to yourself. Finally, you are asked to come in for a 3 hour interview, firstly with 2 other senior members, followed by a sit down on the sales floor to get a feel for the team and the day to day tasks. All-round, a very thorough process to make sure you are right for the role and vice versa.
