I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Air Methods (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2014
Interview
Timely and efficient. Submitted application online and was contacted very soon afterwards. Great involvement with local upper management on the process. It was a group conversation about the field more than a feeling of being asked hard questions.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Air Methods (New York, NY) in Nov 2012
Interview
Contacted HR regarding employment opportunities and was encouraged to visit a local base. They provided a name and contact. I visited the base and was very impressed with what I was. The next step was a paperwork verification process with HR. They require a fairly detailed review of flight experiance and previous work history. This was followed by a background investigation and a formal interview with regional representatives. The interview was straight forward. Most of the questions were designed to figure out what kind of individual you are and if you would fit in with the other individuals in the region. Very few technical questions. Quite a few scenerio type questions.

Question 1
The most difficult questions were the questions regarding the pilot making a decision that does not sit well with the medical crewmembers. How would you handle those individuals without causing turmoil with the crew.
