3 interviews 1) One-on-one Overall pretty tough, had me sweating. Lots of substantive legal knowledge questions, pretty in-depth and complex, opinions on relevant legal topics within specific field, really nothing behavioral or any "typical" questions (This may be unique; interviewer went off-script) 2) Team panel 3) Someone outside team

The HR person was very unprofessional and did not even mention what would the interview be about, or with whom. The interview was scheduled 2 weeks prior, and I only discovered one day before that the interview will include a live SQL test, while she could've told me earlier to prepare, she also did not say who I am meeting with, I thought I will be meeting with HR, or someone for the Data team, to my surprise I was meeting with someone from the Markets Acquisition team. Overall super negative experience, showed me the level of unprofessionalism in Airbnb, I wouldn't want to work there.

I had a data challenge in which I had about a week to complete a task evaluating the impact of an initiative on bookings. This was followed by a technical phone interview (about 1 hour) with a data science manager focused on knowledge of A/B testing and similar topics and a cultural fit interview focused on company values. Finally, I had a phone interview with a data science manager similar to the first technical interview but a bit harder. The whole process took about 4 weeks to complete and each interview was about 1 hour long. The recruiters were very responsive throughout.
