I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Airbnb
Interview
- 1 phone call
- 1 onsite interview
- decision
I honestly felt like the interview was more on the side of easy (potentially too easy). I felt like I was never asked any follow up questions to dig deeper into the situation, my rationale, the factors in place that could've influenced outcomes, etc. Therefore it seems the interview team didn't get a holistic view of myself.

They were very kind and thorough. Very focused on company values. The downside is they ghosted me after two interviews, which was a bummer since I was excited about the position.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Airbnb (New York, NY) in Jan 2021
Interview
It felt very forced as if they were just going through the motions. I felt like there was likely someone already being considered and the interview was a formality or an exercise that wasn't expected to result in an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Name a difficult time when you had to deliver bad news?
They reached out for me to complete their video interview. I didn't make it past the video interview round. The interview was confusing as it showed the question and then gave you about 15 seconds to think before responding.
