I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Airbnb (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Overall the interview was rushed and unprofessional. I came through a recruiter who did a 30 min screening. I then did a 30 min with the HM, then an all day onsite.
They basically had me design and flesh out a new experience they wanted to launch that was not yet in dev. They ended up incorporating several aspects of my prompt with their 'magical trips' launch which I found amusing.
The hiring manager was a complete waste of time and clearly had gotten to where he was due to tenure not skill in the PM org.

Question 1
Sitting in a semi-closed curtain over a picnic bench for two hours working on a prompt was pretty distracting.
Behavioral interviews and a case study. Focus on product sense, data/ analytical insights, and impact. First meet with hiring manager and recruiter. After that, meet with product, engineering, data science, and design.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Airbnb in Feb 2024
Interview
Got an interview and made it to the recruiter screen only for the recruiter to call me 5 minutes late. She then asked me two questions (neither related to product management or the role) and then asked if I had any questions. She clearly made up her decision right away and I didn't even get a chance.

Interview
First a screener contacted me. We had the regular interview back and forth...tell me about yourself, type of questions. Then a meeting was set up between myself and the hiring manager, which also went well, but I guess not well enough.
