Interview
Got an email with invitation few weeks after applying online. Received a Webex link for an online introductory call which turned out to be a mix of technical and general behavioural (project) questions.
The technical part seemed to be a bit all over the place, asking questions about basic stats and programming. The focus was on nice phrasing of textbook definitions and felt rather like a university entry exam rather than an applied data science interview. No questions about practical data science skills and no mock problems worked-through, unfortunately.
The stats expert's comments about a problem being very simple (while you're struggling) are really undermining and unhelpful during an interview.
Overall the people were polite and friendly, but the type of technical examination might feel a bit 'old-school'.

Pregunta-Respuesta. No duró mucho.
