I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Airtable (Austin, TX) in Mar 2020
Interview
The interview process was amazing. I have never gone through an interview where the homework assignment was so thorough. The only problem I have is there was no feedback on why I was not selected. I was almost done with the interview process and was told by the recruiter that she loved my answers on the homework assignment. We even went as far as discussing them on a follow-up phone conversation. Then I received a generic email that they were going with someone else. Here we are about a month later and the role is still open. I am just not sure why I was not selected when I brought great ideas to the table for Airtable. I hope these ideas they receive from these interviews are not just being poached and used in house. ( They do give you a $200 Amazon gift card for your time )

Question 1
The homework assignment is more of a concern than the standard manager questions you would receive.

Interview
When it comes to providing a great candidate experience, I rank Airtable right at the top. Not only was I NOT ghosted, communication from the recruiter and hiring manager was timely, informative and thoughtful. They sent me a GrubHub voucher for lunch or dinner the day of my 4-hour Zoom loop interviews, as well as an Amazon gift certificate for putting in time on the homework assignment...a lovely
touch! And I say all this despite not being offered the position; a big disappointment. Given my love for the product, meeting the team and the way I was treated, I would still recommend Airtable a a great place to work.
