      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Airtable (Austin, TX) in May 2020

      Interview

Great interview experience. Really enjoyed talking to the entire team. Obviously a nice surprise when you get a $200 gift card for your involvement in the process. The interview process is mostly based on previous experience in sales but also how to co-work with customer success as this is very important for the product.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Airtable (Austin, TX) in Feb 2026

      Interview

Despite the negative reviews of Airtable as a company, I had a very positive interview experience. The recruiter (Kerri) was informed, a great communicator, and worked with both speed and professionalism. She stood out as a top tier recruiter amongst my other interviews. It started with a 121 with the hiring manager, then a debrief with him to prepare for a sim, then a sim with a panel of 3 people including the hiring manager, then an 121 with the sales exec, followed by a final 121 with the hiring manager. By the end I felt like I had a strong understanding of the expectations, about what would lead to success in the role, and about how I would work with the hiring manager.
