I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Airwallex (Melbourne) in Jul 2021
Interview
I completed two interview stages. The first was a very easy code challenge involving grabbing data, performing simple operations, and displaying it on a basic UI. I went above and beyond, creating a polished UI and analyzing the data thoroughly to get the best out of the challenge.
I progressed to the second stage, which felt unprofessional, with some rolling eyes and a sense that I was not considered a fit, possibly due to my English accent and not being fully fluent in my second language. The focus seemed more on the UI technologies than my skills or experience. Overall, not recommended.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mostly asked general questions and did not put much effort into the in-person interview. There were no technical or challenging questions beyond the code challenge, and I felt that they were just looking to finish.
