Applied online and through LinkedIn. HR contacted within 2-3 days, and arranged for a quick call. The call ended abruptly because HR personnel had another call. She was halfway through with a short briefing the second round of interview, which includes a case study.
Case study was done to my best effort, but it seems that during the second round of interview, the hiring managers already have an idea of what they want to hear. If you don't deliver that, they probably wouldn't hire you.
Good vibes overall, but I'd rather they be upfront that they aren't looking to hire than to beat around the bush, and give criticism that may not eventually be useful at all for this or even future roles. Plus, a case study assessment is great, but I think the hiring team might want to be more specific about what they want. They clearly aren't open to listening to what candidates have to offer.
So overall, they don't value the effort and the aptitude from the candidate. I guess this is telling of how their culture is.
