I applied for the SDR role, and initially, the HR process was incredibly pleasant, setting a positive tone for the opportunity. However, as I progressed to the second interview, I encountered some notable challenges. The interview process felt somewhat disorganized and rushed. Despite my eagerness to showcase my skills during the role play, I found that I was often cut off during the conversation or was only given brief moments to demonstrate my abilities. It was evident that the interviewer was not fully engaged, which was disappointing, especially considering their role as a director. Additionally, the interviewer's demeanor gave the impression that they had just woken up, further contributing to the lack of energy and enthusiasm during the call. Furthermore, the overall vibe of the interview suggested that they may have already made their decision, and this interview was merely a formality. This lack of genuine interest made me question the sincerity of the process and left me feeling somewhat disheartened about the potential opportunity. Despite the interview being scheduled for a generous two-hour discussion, it was abruptly concluded in less than an hour, further exacerbating the sense of haste and inadequacy in the proceedings.
