I applied and interviewed for the People Ops Partner role. My application came in when they were about to offer to someone else, so they fastforwarded my interviews.
I was scheduled for 3 interviews in a week, and everyone I met was really lovely. I enjoyed every conversation.
The final stage interview was with a senior member of the Global People team. The interviewer was hard to engage with and I felt like he didn't want to be here. It wasn't a pleasant experience.
I then waited 2 weeks to hear back from the recruiter. I chased for an update and was kept warm with a fairly curt email.
The rejection email was bog standard and vague, and had zero feedback on where I felt short. When I asked for additional feedback, I was ghosted by the recruiter.
Overall I really enjoyed my conversations with the People team but felt let down by the candidate experience and lack of consideration for my time in the process.

I had a 5 stage interview process, which allowed me to meet a good mixture of both the People/TA team, as well as key stakeholders in the business. My interview process moved quickly and I received an offer swiftly.
