Akamai Senior II Site Reliability Engineer Infrastructure interview questions

I had just one call that was initial HR screening. Some technical questions were asked (but clearly the interviewer didn't understand them), some questions about my background (I worked there before) and finally about salary. As per the interviewer "Akamai does not pay the best". I was told I'd still get feedback as I was willing to negotiate given other benefits. They never came back to me, which is unprofessional. The next steps were supposed to be two tech interviews with peers and one with manager.
