Akamai Senior QA Engineer II interview questions

I had been called for the interview through Employee referral. The interview was supposed to be of 3 rounds but after 2 rounds I was told that I could leave for the day. I had experience in core QA, Selenium, basic Linux and Java. But the candidate they were looking for was for Shell scripting and Networking protocol knowledge. Not sure why did they call for the interview in that case. My first round was good as the interviewer asked me related to what I had worked. In the 2nd round the interviewer had only knowledge about networking and shell scripting which I told I had not worked around. They are not clear with what sort of candidates they want for their open positions.
