I applied online and received a response within a few days, inviting me to the first round of interviews. They do have a policy to reach out to every applicant, which is something unheard of. After conducting a LinkedIn search, I discovered that they had only hired individuals of a specific racial background. Perhaps this is why the weird policy exists.
