Recruiter was very unprofessional when it negotiating salary requirements. It’s seems like she is not aware of average salary of what she was recruiting for. When going into details on my background, she was not grasping the details of my experience which made me not confident that she can properly evaluate candidates. Overall, I decided not to continue the interview process because alarm.com salary is considerably low below the market. ($30-$40k less than minimum)
Was asked for availability to talk and scheduled a time with recruiter. Recruiter had technical problems on his end and interview abruptly ended within 5 minutes. Rescheduled for later that day and was asked some pretty typical screening questions. I was told that they will reach out with someone from the team next week, but never heard back.
Probably emailed backed and forth with the recruiter a few times the following 2-3 weeks and finally got a response from an automated email that I did not get the position.
Pretty poor communication and transparency.
